Compassion in Action

From the earliest days of childhood, the founder of Live in Grace carried a quiet sense of feeling unseen, unheard, and overlooked. This feeling was a constant companion—an invisible weight that shaped her understanding of loneliness and invisibility. Yet, even as a young girl, she felt a natural pull toward the homeless individuals she encountered in the places she most often visited. While many passed by without notice, her heart recognized a shared experience of being overlooked by the world. She would quietly observe and often engage with people experiencing homelessness, sensing their stories and struggles beneath the surface.

These early encounters were more than fleeting moments; they planted the seeds of empathy, compassion, and love. Over the years, these seeds grew and blossomed into a vision deeply rooted in respect and care. As she matured, her passion for outreach flourished—supporting Habitat for Humanity, volunteering at soup kitchens, and becoming actively involved in homeless outreach.

In 2020, after learning of a close family member’s journey through homelessness and amid the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Live in Grace was born. The pandemic intensified the harsh realities faced by people experiencing homelessness—lack of access to basic necessities, increased isolation, and heightened vulnerability. Responding to this urgent need, Live in Grace was created to bring compassionate support directly to those in need.

 

Live in Grace is more than outreach; it is a movement to restore humanity and connection—born from a childhood longing transformed into a lifelong commitment to serve with grace.
